About our materials
The materials for our bibs are chosen for their protective qualities and ease of care. Many of our long-sleeved and dinner bib styles are crafted from 100% polyurethane, which provides a reliable waterproof barrier. Several of these products are certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a label for textiles tested for harmful substances. It sets the benchmark for textile safety, from yarn to finished product. Every item bearing the STANDARD 100 label is certified as having passed safety tests for the presence of harmful substances. This material is easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. Our silicone bibs are made from pure silicone, valued for its durability and simple maintenance. For softer needs, you may also find bibs made with organic cotton. In some products, the organic cotton is GOTS certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including environmental, human rights and social criteria, backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain.
