Warning: Silicone plate heating information

Did you buy a silicone plate from us?

If so, we have an important message for you.

Please take a minute to read, it means the world to us!

Our silicone dinner sets are easy-to-use bestsellers with many fans worldwide. Unfortunately, it has now come to our attention that one of our silicone plates has been wrongly labelled with a heating indication on the back stating that the product is able to withstand temperatures above 220 °C. Regrettably, this is incorrect. Instead, it should have said the product can only withstand temperatures up to 200°C.

If you have already heated the plate to temperatures above 200 °C, we kindly ask you to throw away the product.

Don’t worry - Konges Sløjd will reimburse you immediately. We truly apologize for the inconvenience!

Please see the ‘Claims and Return’ on our website for more information and reach out to our customer service team if you have any questions!

As a matter of due diligence, we also kindly refer to the product instructions that asks the customer to always inspect the product before use, and to throw it away at the first sign of damage or weakness.

Product recall: Glitter bottle

Dear customer

Konges Sløjd immediately recalls the product ‘Glitter bottle’ with the following style numbers: KS101530, KS101989.

If you own a glitter bottle from our brand, we kindly ask you to stop using it immediately. Please reach out to our customer service and we will provide you with a return label, so you can send it back to us for a full refund.

Why are we making this recall?

It has come to our attention that if the bottle is accidentally dropped on a hard surface, the inside sealing of the bottle can come loose, and the glitter can leak into the main bottle.

To us, safety is paramount. Though the glitter itself is not harmful as such, it may cause discomfort if a child ingests it. This is why we are now taking this extra precaution and voluntarily recalling the glitter bottle.

Please note: If a child has been drinking from a broken bottle, thereby swallowing some of the glitter, and the child expresses discomfort, a general practitioner should be consulted immediately.

Feel free to reach out to our customer service team if you have any questions!

Kind regards

Konges Sløjd

Product recall: the Nola Swing

Warning!

Konges Sløjd recalls the ‘Nola Swing’ due to product being non-compliant with the European standard EN 71-8, causing Entrapment of head and neck hazard.

Konges Sløjd kindly ask all customers that have bought a Nola swing for children aged 9 months to 3 years to stop all use of the swing immediately, as the product is identified as having a design failure that causes a head and neck entrapment risk.

To us, safety is paramount.

This is why we are taking this precaution and voluntarily recalling the Nola swing after considering the risks.

We develop our products through a thorough risk assessment and by a strict testing programme to ensure that they comply with all applicable laws and standards in the markets they are sold in, and to prevent personal injuries.

Even though precautionary measures have been taken, we have now become aware that, unfortunately, the Nola swing does not comply with the European standard EN 71-8, clause 4.3.1, Entrapment of head and neck, and can thereby constitute a hazard.

Night lamps

Konges Sløjd ask all customers who own the products Night Light Cherry, Night Light Dino & Night Light Lemon (Style no.: KS4499, KS4500 and KS4501) to stop using the products, as the products are identified as child appealing and children can therefore perceive it as a toy, which can lead to electrical risks.

Safety is a top priority at Konges Sløjd, which is why we are taking out precautions and recalling the Night Light Cherry, Night Light Dino & Night Light Lemon due to the electrical risk, which can cause shocks.

Konges Sløjd develops its products using a thorough risk assessment and testing program to ensure that the products comply with all applicable laws and standards in the markets they are sold.

However, we have become aware that these night lights do not comply with EN 60598-2-12:2013 clause 12.7.8 and are assessed to be child appealing. Because of the child appealing, children can perceive them as toys, which can cause a risk of shock, especially for small children. Therefore, we are recalling Night Light Cherry, Night Light Dino & Night Light Lemon.

We kindly ask you to return the item immediately to the store where you have bought it and the store will of course credit you the value of both the goods and freight.
